How to monitor SCCM 2007 R3 SP2: See this SQL connection error below RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, we have a reoccuring problem in our SCCM environment, we have constant problems connecting to our SQL clustering nodes and the SCCM console can't connect, plus numerous errors in the SMSDBMOM.log, I want to monitor this and I can't find anything related in the SCCM MP. Is there anything I can do with SCOM to monitor this behavior:

CSSQLPolling Thread::Unit - unable to get SQL connection

***[08001][17][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

***[011000][67][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB] ConnectionOpen (Connect)

***Failed to connect to the SQL server.

    Thanks Julio.
