view and compare resources at the MS Project Enterprise Master Level RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, we are on SharePoint 2013 SP1 Enterprise Edition December 2016 CU and Project Server 2013 SP1 Enterprise Edition December 2016 CU on-premises.

We are using Microsoft Project Professional SP1 2013 on a Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise Edition system to try to get Project Related ...projects and create Enterprise Files in and for Project Server / PWA.

We want to view and compare resources at the Microsoft Project Enterprise Master Level.

For example a resource at 100% allocation at the Sub Project level for each of the 5 Sub Projects would indicate a 500% over allocation at the master level.  And the corresponding Resource Sheet for that Master File would have 3 Resources – TBA1 Capture Software Developer, TBA2 Image Server Developer and TBA3 Sustaining Developer, which could be assigned across the 5 Sub Projects.  That’s the vision.

    As our root.

Then we have Master_File (subsite from PWA)

/pwa/Master_File/ then we have all projects relating to that master file, as subsites below it:

Again, we have a master file and we have 5 subprojects (5 subsites) below it.

We are looking for the utlization of resources, at the master file level, across all projects, want to know if over allocated, at the master file for utilization.

    Thank you!
