  • Appaji,

Okay, that's the first two steps of method 4 in FAQ 43. Now follow the other 8 steps and you're all set.

If this answers your question, please mark it as the answer.

  • Appaji,

My guess is the file is corrupt. But first, let's make sure you have SP2 installed. It appears from the version number above that you do not. You can download SP2 at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2687457. I also recommend you install the June 2013 cumulative update. You can get that at: http://support2.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=2817385&kbln=en-us.

If after installing the updates you still cannot open the file, go to the MVP website at, http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm and take a look at FAQ 43. Use method 4.

    Hope this helps.

  • Appaji,

What exactly do you mean by, "tied to debug and see below error in VS"? Are you doing something with Visual Studio? If so, what?

Did you try method 4 of the FAQ I referenced?

  • Hi John,

I am not able to open mentioned project to do anything, while opening itself it is crashing...

here is what i did as workaround :

    1. Created new Project - Main

    2. Added as subproject(crashing one)

now i am able to open Main project in Prof 2010, can see all the details of sub project...

let me know if something wrong in above workaround...
