In order to solve this issue efficiently, would you please provide more details about this issue?
By a “background job”, do you mean it’s running on the Domain Controller or client machine?
After 30 seconds, can clients logon successfully?
Are there any related event IDs logged in Event logs?
Here are something below I suggest you do:
- Please make sure that Domain Controller is working properly.
- Open command prompt,
Ping the Domain Controller on client machine to check the network connectivity.
