  • Question

  • Hi,

One question may sounds silly ///:)....

Like to know abt the default location where Overrides will get saved in the Local Harddrive. Since we are performing Overrides and saving as Renamed mp. Will it get store as mp or someother technology it follows.....Please help me on this silly question....

    Thanks,

  • Not silly at all. It's stored in the db by default.

It's never stored on the harddrive unless you explicitly export it (you don't have to do this unless you want to manually inspect the contents). The override MP is automatically distributed to agents that it applies to.

You can right-click and select "Export Management Pack" from the "Management Packs" node (Admin section) if you want to manually inspect.

You'll see the MP under "health service state\management packs" directory on agents that the override applies to.
