DPM 2012 SP1 End-user recovery permissions update failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

We are using DPM 2012 SP1 and have an issue where periodically (possibly weekly) we have 'Warning Alerts' in the DPM console which shows an entry for each of our servers we backup with the "End-user recovery permissions update failed" message.

At the point where you select the entry it will crash the MMC console with the following error:

  • Hi,

MMC crashes cannot be effectively troubleshot in a forum setting - please open a DPM support case if you need an absolute solution.

  • Hi Mike,

Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately we are only allocated 2 support tickets with Microsoft and I would really prefer not to use one if possible.

Could any one advise on any troubleshooting steps I could take?

    Thanks,

    Dan
