I had created a DHCP Failover on another server as backup if the primary dhcp goes down. When I set it up it was configured correctly. I left it alone to enable in the event that I had to use it. While now I cannot logon computers that have finished their
lease time and also releasing and renewing computers not giving me the proper DHCP/DNS? What do I do to get this configured so that it uses my primary DHCP/DNS which is operating now? Please advise
I am getting a 164 address, if I configure the static ip settings on the client I can get access to all services, Internet, shares, etc.
I removed the secondary server DHCP role and still causing problem.
