Make sure you have installed the latest driver for your new webcam from its official website.
Next:
1.Log into your Facebook account.
2.Navigate through your friends list and select the friend you want to send a video message to on Facebook.
3.Click the "Send Message" link in the upper-right corner of your friend's page.
4.Click the "Video" icon in the attachments section at the bottom of the "New Message" window.
5.Check the box next to "Allow" to give Facebook permission to access your webcam and microphone, and then click "Close."
6.Press "Record" and record your new video message. Click "Stop" when you're finished recording. When you're finished recording, you can press "Play" to preview your video.
