Outlook 2016 Crashing RRS feed

  • The application keeps crashing with a message displayed - SOMETHING WENT WRONG.

    This happens several times a day and each time the user has to insert the password for each of the email accounts and reactivate. This seems to be a common problem having looked at Forums but unable to find a solution.

    Does this issue continue if we try to start Outlook in safe mode (outlook /safe)?

    Is there any trigger for this issue to happen?

    Please also have a look at the application log in Event Viewer when this issue happens and see whether there is any useful info logged.
