How Do I Find The Version Number? RRS feed

  • How do I find out what version of SteadyState is running on a PC?
    As there's no Help|About option I don't know how get this information.

    After you launch Windows SteadyState, on the right side of the Title Bar (the bar on the top), you will see "Windows SteadyState v* ". Currently the latest version is v2.5.

    There was no version number in the title bar, so I guess I must have had an earlier release that didn't show it.

    I've now downloaded and installed the latest version and the title bar now shows 'Windows SteadyState v2.5'
