In an Active Directory environment, you can use Group Policy to define how computers and users interact with Windows Update to get automatic updates from WSUS.
- Computer Configuration > Windows Update policy settings
- "Specify intranet Microsoft update service location"
- "Configure Automatic Updates"
- "Enable client-side targeting"
In conjunction with the above basic group policy, please refer to this article for more group policies: "Configure
Group Policy Settings for Automatic Updates"
Then, for the management of the workgroup computer, you can consider implementing it by modifying the registry. This article describes the steps: "Manage
