SQL Server 2012-RCO on SBS Standard 2011 RRS feed

  • I notice you are a partner, so I'm guessing you have access to Technet or Action pack. Therefore I'd strongly recommend setting up a virtual server and doing it there.

It's not tested. It's not supported and the SQL is a beta.  SBS was not designed for it, nor tested with it yet.

So after all of that... why do you want to install it on a perfectly good working server that has a SharePoint that loves to blow up at the drop of a hat?

  • Thanks Susan,

I got my server from Dell last week and I am still trying figure out SBS 2011.

I installed the SQL Beta on my laptop last night, instead.

    Thanks again for your input.

    Greatly appreciated

    Dave
