Is Hotfix 225046 a cummulative rollup? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We've got DPM 2007 SP1 with an older rollup installed.  We want to get current, but whereas older rollups clearly indicated that they included previous rollups in the KB article, hotfix 225046 is unclear on what it includes.  Also, unlike previous updates where there are shell updates, remote SQL updates, etc., none of that is present for 225046.

Based on this, I would be inclined to install 979970 first, then 225046 in order to be completely current, as 979970 clearly indicates what is included (rollup of everything since SP1).

    Thanks for any clarification.

  • Hi,

Yes it is cumulative. The prerequites are DPM 2007 SP1 and if the operating system in Windows Server 2008, the hotfix for KB962975

962975  Dynamic disks are marked as "Invalid" on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista when you bring the disks online, take the disks offline, or restart the computer if Data Protection Manager is installed

    Thanks,

    Marc
