On resume, display logon screen RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been searching the forums all day without any luck. I have several computers in my office, all running windows 7 pro, 64 bit. I want them all to be set to require a password to log in after 10 minutes of inactivity. I've tried every conceivable option with editing the registry to the group profile. Nothing I've tried works.

    I've used gpedit.msc

    Changed screen saver timeout

changed Password protect the screen saver

    enabled the screen saver

Nothing I've tried will engage the lock.

As soon as I move the mouse, I'm right back in.

    Any suggestions?

  • not trying to be dense, but i am a little confused.

you used gpedit to set the screensaver and it's settings?  did you attempt to set them manually?  what was your test?
