  • #1 There's no one solution for everyone, with MIM, you can provision your users to Active Directory etc. How to do it, is completely up to you.

    #2 Pretty sure there are exclusions for Windows Servers and Workstations to get everything working with McAfee without any hickups

    #3 The link you provided contains all the information you need. Basically only thing that the clients will have (its not a must) is the add-ins and extensions for Outlook

    #4 Keep them separated. MIM doesn't use 'full' Sharepoint but Sharepoint foundation which is a lite-weight version of the product.

    #5 Again, need to know more specifics

    #6 I'd say the same hw recommendations apply for MIM as for FIM. For the disk space, it depends how many users are you going to manage etc.
