Hello;
i have windows 8.1 on my laptop;
i deleted a windows update by mistake , i cant remember the updat's name;
after reboot i have this message
Preparing To Configure Windows. Please Do Not Turn Off Your Computer.
system protection is disabled on C:
plz help me .

Can you hit Ctrl +Alt +Delete to log on? Also we could try get into Safe Mode to check.

Hello,
At the moment, you need to wait if till your computer boots into Windows. If the issue persists after that, you can run Windows Update Automated troubleshooter:
