WSUS Package Signing Certificate RRS feed

    Recently reinstalled WSUS as a downstream replica. Have been receiving the following errors:

    The WSUS server is configured to use a package signing certificate, but

    that certificate could not be found.

    Event ID 10072

    and

    Content file download failed.

    Reason: File cert verification failure.

    Source File: /Content/34/675BE112323019C1AEAE45A2F2C38670559F2934.cab

    Destination File: E:\WSUS\WsusContent\34\675BE112323019C1AEAE45A2F2C38670559F2934.cab

    Event ID 364

    3d party packages are not replicating.

    Found a couple references to installing the same certificate from upstream server to Trusted Root and Trusted Publisher but this did not correct the issue.

    Running WSUS on 2012r2.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Sir,

    The version of new installed WSUS server are same as upstream server ?

    I mean , if the downstream server installed KB3095113 and KB3195706 ?

    Also , I'd suggest you check that .CAB file to view the certificate . I mean , you may configure trust for "issuer" .

    Versions between both servers are the same.  Both patches are applied.  Not sure how to configure trust for "issuer"???
