  • Hi,

    Good Day!

First, checkpoints are only suitable for test and development environments, not for backup of virtual machines. Especially in production environments, we do not recommend using checkpoints. Therefore, if you want to backup virtual machines, please use professional backup tools.

Please try to use the following methods to delete checkpoints.

    1.Using the PowerShell command:

    Remove-VMCheckpoint -VMName <virtual machine name> -Name <checkpoint name>

2.Trun off the VM and try to delete checkpoints.

3.Tyr to delete checkpoints manually. You can refer to the following steps:

    https://www.altaro.com/hyper-v/how-to-merge-hyper-v-checkpoints/

Please let me know if you have any question.

    Cheers,

    Daniel
