Any body has any ideas as to why the activation of the configuration may have caused the w3wp.exe to fail.

  • Hi Ashish,

When you perform an activation, configuration is pushed into IIS - sometimes, websites get deleted, updated or re-created. I don't believe I've ever seen this happen, but perhaps something was keeping IIS from recving data via its API, causing it to crash. Does this happen again, or was this a one time thing?
