Hello everybody,
Can anybody know if I can use windows 98 under windows 7 professional (64 bit)?
I still have some very old programs that do run under windows 98.
Can I create virtual PC under windows 7 professional (64 bit) ?
Can I install win 98 over that virtual PC?
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You can install Windows 98 in Windows Virtual PC http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/ (with XP Mode you have Windows XP SP3, which may run your programs), VMWare Player http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ or Virtualbox http://www.virtualbox.org/.

Dear Andre,
I understand that I can install 64 bit version of Virtual PC under my windows 7 operating system.
But, as far as I know windows 98 is not a 64 bit operating system. Isn't that correct?
I really do not want to have conflicts.
Will you please comment?

Osman

Yes, for a 64Bit Windows you need the 64Bit (x64) VirtualPC version:
Windows6.1-KB958559-x64.msu
