Clean Install of Windows 10 on a previously activated windows 10 notebook

Question
-
I have a Toshiba notebook that had windows 8.1 activated and that I upgraded to windows 10 during the initial technical preview and that was activated even after the windows 10 went gold/final
Since I have another notebook that is exactly the same but with a SSD and it's soooo much faster I decided to swap the harddisk of the notebook with a HDD. I was using a duplicator app to "duplicate" the HDD to the SSD and the app borked up and all went south. Tried to use a pen to do a recover but that didn't work, none of its options worked (the duplicator app installed some kind of boot that I wasn't able to remove).
So I decided to wipe the HDD clean (erased all partions and all) and reinstall Windows 10 still on the HDD so the hardware was all the same and a clean install would activate... no luck.
The notebook doesn't have a sticker with the windows 8.1 key so I don't know my key for windows 8.1
I understand that I can order recovery media from Toshiba but don't know if they will supply the key too, they should I guess but ordering the media won't be free and will take a long time so I am trying to avoid doing it.Is there no way to get Windows 10 (re)activated?

You can use this tool to recover the key https://neosmart.net/blog/2014/windows-10-embedded-product-key-tool/
If it is a win 10 key and it is pro it will be this key VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T. If it is that key you will need to call activation and you can find the phone number by typing slui 4>scroll to your county and call that number
