Setting Time Zone RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using Power Query with Excel 2013 and downloading OData from CRM Online. When I download a date/time field, the result in Excel is 3 hours earlier than what I have in CRM. I assume that I have to set a time zone in power query but I cannot figure out where and how. Please reply with step by step.Thanx

  • There is no direct way to set a single time zone inside Power Query. When a "current" time zone is needed, the machine time zone is used.

Does the value from CRM come back with a time zone attached, and is it a different time zone than the one you're in?

  • Yes. The time is 2 hours earlier than what is in CRM. Both my PC and CRM are set to UTC +2. Did I miss a setting when connecting to the CRM? Thanx
