Critical Exceptions Thrown in Event Log After Clean Install/Reset 1803 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently installed Windows 10 clean install latest updates, and am getting the following critical errors in my event log after installing the Hyper-V feature:

The interesting thing is that Default Switch appears to be forced installed now that generates an IP address and subnet that is completely different from the host network.

I am not sure if that is by design but it would be nice to have a clean Event Log that doesn't involve me turning off these IDs. :P

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

    Michael

  • Haha... suggesting that this should also be presented in another forum to promote visibility is not an answer, sorrynotsorry. 😁  This is still an exception that is thrown from Hyper-V.

  • I am having this problem as well, and the Default Switch is not functional. It never issues an IP address to guest VMs (host OS is Windows 10 1903, fully patched as of June 4 2019).
