    Please make sure that you do have a BIOS virus, these are manufacturer specific and extremely rare, so you don't want to assume before applying fixes.

    If you do have a virus in the BIOS, depending on BIOS or UEFI BIOS:

    1. Look in the laptop manual or call the manufacturer for assistance. There should be a way that may or may not be easily accessible, to clear your BIOS. Also, removing the CMOS battery (if accessible) may also clear the BIOS. Hopefully this clears the extra code, but likely will NOT.

    2. Sure way is if you have another non-infected PC, you can download the BIOS flash utility and BIOS code from the manufacturer's site and flash it from a boot up CD ROM (non-writable).
