  • Hi,

I think the easiest way of doing that is to have a report configured with reporting services and deliver it via email using a report subscription

    Hope this helps

  • I would first decide if that is worthwhile. My experience is that very quickly canned emails like that get treated as spam and sent straight to the bin.

It is useful info, but when thrown at people, it is rarely received well!

  • Hi Rod,
My present situation is Email notification is based on every individual Task.
So for 10 tasks-I gets 10 emails- as of present case.

What I want is- 1 single Email- which summarizes all 10 tasks for that day- from Task Center.

So what Paul says- Is we needed SSRS report - and report subscription service.

Please suggest- anything else not possible out of box of project server 2013.

  • Its definitely a custom solution. You can do it via VBA or a SSRS report or any other reporting tool but you are more limited if this is Project Online. If on prem then can read data directly from the reporting db using VBA.
