Binding IP Address RRS feed

  • We have a virtual server and we have to bind local machine via IP address could we do this, if yes then how we can do this?

  • Are you referring to Virtual Server 2005, or some other virtual server?

    This forum is specific to the Microsoft product Virtual Server 2005.  You assign an IP address inside the VM's OS just like you would with a physical computer.

  •  I am using windows server 2012 R2 and i have to bind local machine. I have tried by mac binding however i was failed i couldn't  able to add the machine to a domain even i have mention the DNS an error came that "The specified doamin either does not exist or could not be contacted".I have also attached the error page. Please suggest what should i do, is their any other solution for binding the machine like Ip.

  • What virtualization platform are you using?  

    You need to correctly set up the virtual networking switches.
