  • Hi Jiati,

Since the account and password are right, do you use User Principal Name (logon) to have a try?

Here is a related document for you, hope can give you some help:

    Understanding login strings with POP3/IMAP

Do you test on another computer (use same account, configure POP3 and IMAP to connect the Exchange Sever)?

If not, please use another computer to have a try.

    Thanks,

  • You're testing on the same machine? Can you telnet to 143 and see if you can log in with the problem account?

How to verify basic IMAP connectivity by using Telnet

  • Test account login works.

Problem account fails. error msg: ? NO Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

Note: OWA works with the problem account.

Also performed the same test for POP3 with the same results. Seems like the password is not correct for the problem account. Tried resetting the password but encountered the same results.
