Windows server 2019 and scheduled tasks RRS feed

  • Question

  • It appears that microsoft server 2019 can not run any task regardless of extenstion if said scheduled task's elapsed time to completion exceeds 5 minutes, and at 5 minutes of elapsed time that task will be ended automatically without error, or log.

    Steps to confirm

a .bat and a .exe were both scheduled to run on a 2019 server and at 5 minutes the tasks did do what they were intended to do but not completely as they were ended immediately at the 5 minute limit.

Scheduled tasks on 2019 have a lowest limit of auto kill of the process at 1 hour, not 5 minutes, all automatically stop options, in triggers and settings were deselected, all options to stop the process for any reason were deselected.

those same .bat files were run from file explorer and both ran to completion

    Please fix this asap!
