Querying MV for single connectors RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm looking for a way to query my metaverse to identify all objects that have only one connector.  The Metaverse Search function doesn't seem to allow this.  Is there any way to do it?  Ideally, I'd like to be able to generate a report.

    Thanks in advance.

  • What are you trying to accomplish?  There are probably several hundred things you could do with operational MAs to get an extract of all your connectors with some extra provisioning code, but if you're looking for how to query the MV directly, there's no supported way of doing so.

  • SELECT * FROM dbo.mms_metaverse m

    INNER JOIN (

    SELECT mv_object_id

    FROM dbo.mms_csmv_link

    GROUP BY mv_object_id

    HAVING ( COUNT(mv_object_id) = 1 )

    ) c

    ON m.object_id = c.mv_object_id

  • Perfect.  Here is my final query:

    SELECT * FROM dbo.mms_metaverse m

    INNER JOIN (

    SELECT mv_object_id

    FROM dbo.mms_csmv_link

    GROUP BY mv_object_id

    HAVING ( COUNT(mv_object_id) = 1 )

    ) c

    ON m.object_id = c.mv_object_id

    WHERE (m.object_type = 'person' AND m.employeeID != 'NULL' AND m.employeeID != 'Z00000000' AND m.employeeStatus = 'Active')

    Thanks!!!!
