Problems using trusted domains with SSP

Hi,

I'm trying to configure the SSP 2.0 in my environment but I'm having problems with the domains that I'm trying to use. I have a domain with some trust relationships (Trust Type - External, Transitive - No), when I try to add this domains to the list, I receive an error, I can't add them, I have only added the local domain...

I have the same problem with the SSP to manage the virtual machines. I've configured groups with accounts from the trusted domains and give them permissions in some virtual machines... no problem in the SCVMM, but when I try to use the web portal, I can't use the trusted domain account.

Should I configure the trust relationship in a specific way to use it for this purpose?...

Hi,

Are you able to access a machine belonging to a domain to which you have trust relationships from portal (IIS) machine? You can check PING command results to confirm.

Hi,

I have no communication problems between the servers in my local domain and the servers in the trusted domain.

This is a ping from the SCVMM, it has also the SSP installed. (BLADE04.eld.es.eu.ericsson.se). The target server is one of the corporate DNS.
