Email Address policy changes after moving from exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010

Question

Hi,
This is a very strange case.
We are migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 and working in a co-exitence phase.
The recipient policies have not been converted to Email Address policies
The users first name as of now is : test test1
The user last name is : test2 test3
Recipient policy in Exchange 2003 : %g.%s@contoso.com
Some Primary SMTP when user in Exchange 2003 = test.test3@contoso.com
When User is moved to Exchange 2010 the primary smtp becomes : testtest1.test3tes4@contoso.com
how can we resolve this problem
Can we create any Email address policy which can create test.test3@contoso.com for the same user ?

I can't really tell what is being applied to what from your examples, but when you move a mailbox from 2003 to 2007 or 2010, the recipient policy /EAP is enforced and that is by design:

If you dont want those changes to be made when moving mailboxes, then uncheck the updating of the email address policy per the link above.
If you want to create a new EAP for those 2010 users, see:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232171(v=exchg.141).aspx
