  • Dear Sirs,

I need your support over the following MS EPM 2013 issue:

After creation Enterprise custom text field with formula for Resources via Project Server web-interface, I can't find it in available fields in "Resource Center".

  • Hi,

This is not a bug, this is by design for some reason.

Some views like the resource center views don't allow the addition of calculated fields, mainly because it is a challenge to know when to calculate it. One potential workaround is to define a macro at client level to copy the data from a calculated field into a noncalculated field.  You could also do it at the server level, but it would require coding against the PSI.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi Andrey,

Resource custom fields with formula cannot be added to resource center views.

A workaround might be to create a custom resource report (Excel, SSRS) adding this custom field.

    Hope this helps,

I not understand Why it not work.

I can't find any limitation about this problem in official documentation.

    Is it a known issue?
