BitLocker Windows 7 computers RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there a way to Disable Startup Repair to all BitLocker Enabled Windows 7 computers without having BitLocker asking for Recovery Password upon restart and detect there is change on the BIOS?

    Cheers

  • Hi MingNodorina,

We could use BCDedit to disable start repair, however,  unfortunately, I’m afraid we could not disable Startup Repair without asking for Recovery Password.

  • Yes, there is.

Simply suspend bitlocker before making that change and resume protection afterwards.
