Printing Wrapped Tasks RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I was asked how to wrap the text for tasks when they were printed, either from MS Project or sent to a PDF file. I thought this would be easy to accomplish, as it's something most everybody would expect to happen almost automatically, yet I couldn't seem to be able to find a way to do it. I'm using Project Pro 2010, although I have 2013 and tried it there as well, with no success. Is this possible? I've not tried to do it from PWA yet, that's my next shot, but wanted to get this out there for some assistance.

    Cheers, Ray

Do you have the latest Service Packs and Cumulative Updates applied to your Microsoft Project 2010?  If not, I would recommend you do so, as I seem to remember that there were bug fixes that concerned printing problems.  I just ran a quick test in Microsoft Project 2013 with SP1 applied, and I have no problem printing tasks with wrapped task names.  Hope this helps.
