Task Schedular is not running for "Start the task only if the Computer is idle for: RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I'm trying to schdule auto shutdown using Task Schedular in "Windows Server 2012 R2"

    1. Under General option selected "Run whether user is logged on or not"

    2. Under Trigger selected "On Idle" and checked "enabled"

    3. Under action "Start a Program" , Program script "C:\Windows\system32\shutdown.exe" and arg "/s /t 300"

    4. Condition: - below options are selected

    "Start the task only if the computer is idle for: 50 minutes"
    "Wait for idle for: Do not wait"
    "Stop if the computer ceases to be idle"
    "Restart if the idle state resumes"

    "Start the task only if the computer is on AC Power"
    "Stop if the computer switches to battery power"

    but still shutdown task is not running. Please provide the working solution. Thanks in advance
