SFB Web App wont start (Firefox on Catalina)

Question

Joining as guest. Click web app meeting link. Plugin downloads and installs (for single user, the only option allowed). It installs without an error, but nothing happens (I think the plug in dies). There is no sign of the plugin, and if I start over, it tries to install again. Very repeatable. MacOs 10.15.5, Firefox 77.0.1

Hi brtech98!
Does other browser have the same issue on Catalina?
You can try to open an Inprivate browsing session and make sure that your browser allows ActiveX controls to load and run.
Considering your Plug-in isn’t detected after installation, please try to launch your browser as a standard user instead of “run as administrator”. Then make sure you allow your browser to save local data or cookies on your computer or device.

Doesn't work on Chrome. Slightly different symptom: doesn't know that the plugin loaded, let alone started, but the result is the same. Tried a private browsing session, no difference. I'm on a Mac, there is no ActiveX and the link has tips that are Windows-specific.Friday, June 12, 2020 2:41 PM

That was for Safari and seems quite different from mine, because there is no problem using plugins with Firefox or Chrome.Wednesday, June 17, 2020 3:47 PM

Hi brtech98!
I am sorry for misunderstanding your issue.
Considering this is issue happened after installing the plug-in, we recommend you check if you have installed plug-in successfully in your control panel. If it installed in your computer, try to uninstall it and clearing your browser cache, then reinstall it to see if this issue can be fixed.
Also, please make sure your computer operating system and web browser are on the list of supported platforms:
