Opening Word & Excel documents from sharepoint

every time I try to open a word or excel document i keep getting a certificate error saying No certificates available, no certificates meet the application criteria. click ok to continue,

when you click Ok word or excel just stays blank. I have everything added, trusted sites, (tried both areas) tried removing and re-adding the certificates still no luck.

this is only affecting 1 person everyone else is ok.

Hi skillmaster,

This issue occurs if any of the following situation is true:

1.       The digital signature is corrupt because its content has been tampered with.

2.       The certificate was not issued by a trusted certificate authority(CA). For example it might be a self-signed certificate. If this is the case. You must choose to trust an untrusted issuer to make the signature and again.

3.       The certificate used to create the signature has been revoked, and no time stamp is avaible.

2. Which format of Word and Excel files ?

3. Which Office products (and which versions of those products) are installed on the particular client PC ?
