Windows will not completely boot after update.

  • Hello,  I just got a windows update pushed from Microsoft notification. I do not remember which version is on that computer.  When I boot, it takes me to windows logon screen, after input of password, it will go to a black screen and hangs.  I can open task manager.  Two processes are running using CPU.  Windows Explorer and Service Host: Windows Push Notifications User Service_497ba.  What task should I look for to get windows to complete booting?  Is there a service I should look for to make sure it is running?
