Mail flow issue only with outlook. (owa and pop3 are working) RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I need your help regarding to mail flow issue.

    It seems that my server suddenly won't proceed with email in or out.

    This happen only with Outlook (Exchange anywhere) as OWA and pop3 seems to be working well (please don't ask me why we keep pop3...).

    Outlook is still connected to Exchange server.

    What I do as workaround is to restart the server. (restarting services won't help, as well as restarting IIS services. )

  • Also ,get-serverhealth give me unhealthy monitors, which may not be related  :

    And components state are Healthy.

  • What happens with Outlook running on a domain joined computer?

    Also, when you send email, do you see it in sent items?

  • In fact , I only run outlook on domain joined computer.

    And yes I see them in send email.

    I may need to add that Outlook Connection status is "Established" . I. ve tried to reconnect it during issue. Reconnect was successful but email were still blocked.

  • Ok.

    Please sent a test email and do message tracking on Exchange server to see what's happening.

    If email is in Sent items, this means email is picked by Exchange server. Tracking email on Exchange should give us more info on what is happening
