How do I unlock a new word document RRS feed

    I opened a new word document and a window to upload the microsoft windows office 2010 pops up, I already bought it and uploaded my cd onto my new computer, the other one crashed within 90 days, so I returned it. I was able to use my windows office 2010 for awhile, and then this window to verify or something or other keeps popping up, I ignored it. Now, it has locked up my documents, new word document, and I am unable to unlock them or understand why. Please help.

    Is it possible that you haven't activated your installation? In that case, you have to do so if you want to continue using Office. Following the instructions should work.

    Another possibility is that your computer also has a trial version of Office installed. Uninstall it from Control Panel and then repair Office 2010, also from Control Panel.
