Scenario 1: I plug my Mobile device into my Vista machine, and there is no monitor attached to that computer, my device won't sync. I can log into that machine via remote desktop (from another computer) and WMDC says "Not Connected". The phone shows its connected, but no sync occurs in this scenario.
Scenario 2: I plug a monitor into my Vista machine, reboot, and connect my device. Vista recognizes the mobile device, syncs it, and everyone is happy.
So my question is, why doesn't WMDC sync without a monitor physically attached to the machine?
