Appearance Settings Windows Standard RRS feed

  • Question

  • Vista SP2 +latest patches

I want to change my Appearance Settings to use Windows Standard or Windows Classic because I prefer the Active Window Text Font used in those themes.  When I click Apply, it does not change the font in the active window, even if I stop and start the application or reboot the computer.

  • Hi,

What about to restart the themes service?

    1. click start, and enter “services.msc” in the search bar.

    2. locate the “Themes” item, double click to open it

    3. try to stop/start it to check.
