How to prompt one-time password dialog for DirectAccess RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everybody,

All of our users (windows 7)  who canceled one-time password dialog, can't prompt it again.

The one case how to do it - log off/log on

How can I engage the one-time password dialog, after I canceled the prompt dialog.

    Any suggestions (even code/script)?

    Regards,

    Victor

  • Hi

Not sure, except if user have Administrator level privileges and restart the DAC service. DAC is responsible to detect missing certificate, that certificate that proove user authentication was performed with OTP.

  • hi

with Windows 7, OTP prompt is managed by DAC. Just lock and unlock your session to force searching for the required certificate

  • Is there a  more elegant way how to do it?

The user's requirements are not lock/unlock their session, at least not so obviously (maybe .bat file or c# code for some application) ???
