Pin folders to jump list OR taskbar = loads of benefits RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Okay here's what I (and many other people) think should be the Taskbar-Folder behavior:
A: if you drag a folder to the Windows Explorer icon on the taskbar, it gets pinned io the Jump List . If you drag a file to this folder, it gets pinned too.
B: if you drag a folder to the Taskbar , it gets pinned to the Taskbar .

This behavior "update" would even let us create some sort of OSX-ish Stacks of files & folders, so that users wouldn't even need to make custom Start Menu toolbars just for their folders. Final result - pretty custom program & folder menus on taskbar! And everyone could just pin My Computer to the Taskbar , without having to manually change the shortcut's target!

    Think about this, Microsoft! ;)
    Regards, Kristaps.
