  • Question

  • Hi,

I have installed my OS in May 2014. I have a legit copy. I am unable to use some of built in application such as:Alarm, Calcular and all the other apps which comes with Windows 8.1 Pro.

I have run the command (I.e. sfc /scannow) for system file scanning and repairing and the scanne showed corrupted windows files which were not fixed by it.

The details of corrupted files as given are bellow.

    • Cannot repair member file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB" of prncacla.inf, Version = 6.3.9600.16384, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch

Answers

  • Hi.

Have you tried the following cmd?

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

If still fails, please use a removable media, such as the Windows DVD, your legit copy as a repair source, such as

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess

Replace the <var>C:\RepairSource\Windows</var> placeholder with the location of your repair source
