Cookies Issue in IE 11 in Windows Server 2012 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are testing a web application in IE 11 in Windows Server 2012 R2 where the cookies are not accepting. The app is displaying a warning message "to maintain a login session, enable cookies".

But the cookies are enabled in the Settings. We tried this solution, but no luck.

The application is working fine in the Chrome browser in the same machine also it is working fine in Windows Server 2008.

    Any inputs are appreciated? Thanks!

  • Hi,

warning messages that have the title of the web page are generated from scripts running in the web page. Ask your software vendors/developers to debug their web pages to ensure that the feature detection used for cookie support is correct.

Most probably, it may be from a third-party script that is being blocked by your cookie settings.

To debug blocked content, and web pages in general your programmers should first go Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, check "Always record developer console messages".Save changes.
