DPM 2007 Protected Server VSS Event ID: 12289 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a VMWare Windows 2008 Std 64-bit server that hung yesterday.  It is our ERP server.  Looking in the Event log I see many of the same errors as below.  Could this be causing the hang?  DPM could not contact, nor could SQL 2005 even though it wass pingable. Nor could I login, had to access with vsphere to the ESXi 4.1 server and power down and restart, never a good option.
