Can't install SCCM 2012 R2 Client on Windows Server 2012 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am having an issue installing the SCCM client on a Server 2012 R2. I don't have any issues installing the client on 80+ servers except for this one. When pushing the client to install from SCCM, I receive the error message below:

Product: Configuration Manager Client -- Error 1904. Module C:\Windows\CCM\StatusAgentProxy.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -2147024770.  Contact your support personnel.

If I try to manually install the client, the "ccmsetup.exe" just stops processing after a while. See below for the error message. I have restarted the server and the server is fully patched.
