what is a "$Recycler.Bin" virus? and, why any anti-virus cant find and remove it? is it attached to registry? please help!
today when i unchecked the box named "hide protected operating system files (recommended)" in the folder options then i got two folders in all of my drive which were perhaps hidden namely "$Recycle.Bin" & "System Volume Information".
i am familliar with these as some of my pals had to format the hard-drive to get rid of it as no anti-virus catches them.
while surfing net to get the solution of the problem it came to my knowledge that it is a trojan which gets embedded in to the registry and its not an easy task to cut it out.
i tried scanning it with mcaffee, kaspersky and norton but the effort went useless. i tried registry editor. i even tried to delete it but no matter how many times i delete it, it comes back.
please help.
