I find the only apps installed in C drive can be pinned to quick launch bar. When I try to drop apps installed in D drive on quick launch bar a crossed circle appears indicating not gonna happen.

Hi!
Right click on your desktop and create a new shortcut that points to the file. you should then be able to pin the shortcut to the taskbar.
